The Conference Centre

The Excelsior’s Conference Centre was inaugurated in the early Eighties by the Lazzerini family, who were the first hotel owners in Chianciano to open a purpose-built conference facility.

This facility has quickly become an established venue, in great demand on the conference circuit; during the Nineties its rooms and exhibition space were further extended to reach a capacity of 710 guests. Over the years, the Conference Centre has hosted a number of illustrious speakers and been a theatre for several important political, social and art related gatherings, of both national and international prominence.

As well as via its separate main entrance, the conference centre can also be conveniently accessed through an internal corridor from the hotel, so that privacy and confidentiality may be preserved.
